Description
Medium: Chlorella Nutrients
Notes on preferred growing conditions. Prefers low light and agitation in solution. This strain uptakes nutrients quickly. Temperatures grown here are at 70- 75 degrees F. We use a constant intensity of light at 2500 Lux with a periodicity of 12:12 hour light : dark cycle.
Origin: Ramooswald, Zopfingen Switzerland from soil
Isolator: O.C. Dönz (1993)
Other collections have this strain and it is known as: CCAP 211/14; SAG B 211-14; ATCC 30412; IAM C-111; CAUP H 6503; UTEX 32
