This centrifuge really does a great job collecting algae. It is easy to assemble with a fully adjustable flow rate. You can vary the water flow from 0 to 25 gallons per hour. Speed the flow rate up and you get clean algae biomass in record time. Slow it down and the algae biomass will be filtered with extreme precision. Flowing at just 10 gallons per hour can yield algae that are filtered down to 1 Micron! The centrifuge was designed specifically with ease of use in mind. By attaching the motor directly to the rotor there’s no need for high-pressure gauges. Harvesting algae is easy and mess free. The dispensed permeate water can be easily collected for you to sanitized and reused for growing more algae.
